The STEM Game Lab is a three‑part Workshop Series that brings together students, early‑career professionals, educators and industry experts from Germany and the United States to explore how game development can strengthen STEM competencies. Each 90‑minute session combines concise expert presentations, practical case studies and a moderated transatlantic discussion
The German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in New York is pleased to host the first workshop of the STEM Game Lab series on Tuesday, March 24, 2026: 10:00-11:30 AM EDT (15:00-16:30 MEZ).
This session focuses on the U.S. market, highlighting educational programs, industry initiatives, and funding opportunities that support STEM development through game design. Participants will learn how American institutions and companies foster technical skills and interdisciplinary collaboration in the game sector.
The workshop is aimed at students, early-career professionals, and educators interested in the U.S. game development and STEM ecosystem. Experienced instructors and industry experts from the United States will lead the session, complemented by a moderated discussion for transatlantic exchange.
